GAP top

GAP top

I LOVE the new arrivals at Baby Gap! Little Man has some of their thermals that I found on clearance last season and they are so incredibly soft. They're great by themselves or for layering under tees. This weekend Gap is offering 30% off your entire online purchase.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) we live in warm weather pretty much year round and don't have much need for warm jackets, but I love this coat! I would have Little Man wear this with a red plaid button down and dark blue jeans.

This top would be adorable with a gray thermal or even just a plain white tee. I only wish it came in dark green too!

Little Man Flashback

This was Little Man's Christmas outfit. Baby Gap usually has great dress shirt options and Old Navy is starting to have more to choose from this season. His khakis were from Target, and his shoes were a gift. You can find similar items by clicking on the links below:

When I shop for Little Man I try to buy items that I can mix with what he already has to create more outfits. I would recommend at least one pair of good jeans, cargo pants, and a pair of cords. They can be dressed up for special occasions, or be made casual for errands. The shirts I chose above could be matched with any of the pants. Babies don't need shoes, but I always like having Little Man in a pair of Converse as they go with most outfits. I LOVE these Sperry Top-Siders!

I could never justify spending the money to buy Joe's Jeans for Little Man, but they are so cute! The sweatshirt from H&M would look great with a white tee underneath or even a casual plaid button down. The slip-on shoes from Target look like baby Sanuks! I have a feeling they wouldn't stay on for long...neither would the hat these days as Little Man will not keep hats on anymore!

These are similar to Sperrys and Ralph Lauren shoes I've seen for babies, but waaaaay cheaper.

Favorite Little Man Looks Part 2

You can find the following items by clicking on the links below:

H&M is my absolute FAVORITE place to shop for Little Man. The items are reasonably priced and I've been able to find some great deals including t-shirts for $1-3 dollars. Most of Little Man's hats have also been purchased at H&M. Unfortunately H&M does not sell online, and not all stores have a baby section. Children's Place has a cute newsboy cap and fedora currrently selling online.

I wish I had a better picture of Little Man's pediped shoes-he received them as a gift and they were such great baby shoes!  As much as I like his Converse, the pediped shoes were much easier  to put on his moving feet!

Finding cute, affordable dress shirts can be challenging and I love the options Old Navy has to offer. This shirt has a tie attached and ties for babies are difficult to find. I also love the gray skinny jeans paired with the $7 sweater from H&M.

Favorite Little Man Looks Part 1

Jeans: Ralph Lauren (they were a gift so I'm not sure where they are from-similar ones here at Old Navy)

Shoes: Converse

The Oxford shirt is a great basic for dressing up. The Baby Gap Oxford shirt starts at 12-18 months, but you can actually find a similar one at Old Navy in white 0-3 months + or  blue 6-12 months +. If you join their email list, you'll receive updates when they have sales, 30% off purchases online, etc. This shirt is something both stores typically have online so I waited until there was a sale to pick one up in blue from Baby Gap and in white from Old Navy.

Some people may not put shoes on their babies until they are walking, but I couldn't resist getting Converse for Little Man. You can also find similar ones at Old Navy.

cords and sneakers

For a baby gift Little Man was given the brown cords from Old Navy and I've loved them! They're perfect for dressing up with a plaid button down or going casual with a tee. They also have a belt attached (belts are IMPOSSIBLE to find for baby boys) and are on sale for $10.

Usually I'm not one for message tees, but I thought this one was unique. Hoodies are a great layering option especially in Southern California where jackets aren't always necessary. Baby Gap jeans are the best! They wash super well (Little Man has worn his several times and they still look new) and are softer than any other jeans he has had. Check the clearance rack at Baby Gap and you can sometimes find them for $10-15 depending on the style. TOMS for babies are pretty much the cutest things ever.
